Everybody’s talking about the Aldo-McGregor fight and watch the world’s two most popular featherweights finally settle their beef. But we all know that the UFC featherweight title isn’t the only belt up for grabs on December 12.
The co-main event features UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman defending his strap for the 4th time against former Strikeforce champion Luke Rockhold. Weidman is the man who ended the legend known as Anderson Silva after he stopped the Brazilian demigod in two consecutive fights, knocking him out cold with a punch in their first bout and breaking his leg in the second fight.

While Weidman has taken the center stage from Silva, Luke Rockhold has quietly moved atop the UFC middleweight standings. After a shocking spinning kick from Vitor Belfort spoiled his UFC debut, Rockhold has stopped four impressive opponents within two rounds. Rockhold’s body kick knocked out Costas Philippou in round one and then he followed that up with submission wins over Tim Boetsch, Michael Bisping and Lyoto Machida.
