The most dominant MMA champion, male or female, in the history of the sport has broken another barrier.

According to a report from FOX sports, UFC Women Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey will grace the iconic magazine’s January 2016 issue.

Dubbed as the Bible of Boxing, The Ring is the premier boxing magazine in the world. Since its first release in 1922, only boxers have graced its cover and only one female boxer- Cathy “Cat” Davis in 1978, has ever been on the front page. That’s history now.

Rousey’s ascent to near immortality status has been fueled by her incredible success inside the Octagon where she is unbeaten in 12 fights. Rousey has dominated her competition, winning her last four bouts in a total of 130 seconds. She’s stopped all her opponents and only one has lasted more than one round with her.
