Manny Pacquiao hasn’t named his next opponent yet. But is it because he is having a hard time choosing between Arum’s options? Or is it because of something else.

Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum told the world that the Filipino icon would name his chosen opponent on a Top Rank card in Puerto Rico which was aired by TruTV. Unfortunately, Pacquiao was reportedly not ready to choose between the three options lobbied by Arum, hence he postponed the announcement.

Earlier, Pacquiao declared that his next fight- scheduled for April 9, would be his last as he is running for a senatorial post in the Philippine elections of 2016. Arum then said that the final selection of opponent would be up to Pacquiao but gave him three choices in Terence Crawford, Timothy Bradley and Amir Khan. But while Arum has been vocal in pushing for Crawford and Bradley, Team Pacquiao hasn’t been as fond of both. Could it be because Pacquiao is setting his sights on someone else?

According to WBA world lightweight champion Adrien “The Problem” Broner, Pacquiao’s adviser called him up recently to discuss a potential bout with 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao.
